It started as an engineering project
FyreFly began as an engineering project — a small group set on making the world of complex biotech computation a little easier, one step at a time. We made it our goal to render SOTAState of the art — the best-performing methods currently available systems as accessible and affordable as they can be: no artificial limits, full transparency. The lab started in August 2024 with small optimisation software and a clever system for easy HPCHigh-performance computing — large compute clusters for heavy scientific workloads access. At a certain point we decided to combine most of it, and that became Phonos — where we are now.
