Account & questions
The paperwork each order carries, how the optional account works, and the practical questions.
Paperwork you can file.
Each order comes with the documents purchasing and quality assurance ask for.
- Order confirmationStates the agreed specification and schedule.
- Test report 2.2 or inspection certificate 3.1To EN 10204, issued only from actual manufacturer and batch records.
- InvoiceAs PDF. The structured EN 16931 invoice (UBL 2.1, XML) is available for download once issued.
Alef issues the EN 16931 core format; XRechnung and Peppol transport are not part of it. Need a particular e-invoicing channel? Please ask us before you order.
Account and security.
Ordering works without an account. An account keeps your orders, addresses and invoices together.
Any order can be followed with its number and the order e-mail, signed in or not. Signed in, you can protect the account with a second factor from an authenticator app, keep recovery codes as the way back, see every open session and end it, change your sign-in address or close the account.
Alef Portal is open as a preview: sign-in, live orders and payments are not yet switched on.
Who can order in Alef?
Businesses under § 14 BGB and public-law entities. Online checkout needs a German billing and delivery address and charges 19 % VAT; all other cases get a separate quotation.
What happens with oversize or special parts?
They are never priced automatically. Alef routes them to the technical team as a request, and you receive a separate quotation.
Certificate 2.2 or 3.1 — what is the difference?
Both follow EN 10204. A test report 2.2 states the manufacturer's material data, without an inspection specific to your order. An inspection certificate 3.1 carries test results from the manufacturer's quality inspection and appears as its own line in the price.
Certificates are issued only from actual manufacturer and batch records.
Which DXF files does Alef read?
ASCII DXF with CIRCLE, ARC, LINE, LWPOLYLINE, POLYLINE, ELLIPSE and SPLINE. Units come from $INSUNITS and holes are found by containment. Block definitions are used only when the drawing itself yields no contour, and anything skipped is listed next to the preview.
Splines are approximated; export arcs and lines where accuracy matters. Block placements (INSERT) are not applied.
Do you deliver outside Germany?
Online checkout covers German billing and delivery addresses. For other countries, write to us: these orders need a separate quotation with a tax review.
Who manufactures my parts, and who is my contract partner?
Your seller is FyreFly Systems GbR, your contact for orders, invoices, delivery and claims for defects. Alpha Dichtungstechnik GmbH manufactures the parts as an independent company; engaging the manufacturer does not release FyreFly from its duties as seller.
When is my order binding?
Submitting the order is your binding offer; the contract is formed when FyreFly expressly accepts it. The calculated preview is not an offer, and payments for orders we do not accept are refunded.
Are delivery dates binding?
Displayed delivery dates are estimates unless they are expressly agreed as binding. The order confirmation states the agreed specification and schedule.
Can I take my geometry elsewhere?
Yes. Every form in My forms downloads as a DXF. You need to hold the rights to the drawings you submit.
Can I order in Alef today?
