Rules & price

How the combined run decides when to cut, and why it never touches your price.

Your rules, per material.

Cadence and thresholds are set in the admin panel, not in code.

A graphite foil that runs in volume can collect for hours. An exotic grade that is ordered twice a quarter must not wait for a second customer who never comes. So each material, and optionally each thickness, has its own rule.

  • Collect, or cut immediately
  • Minimum part count and minimum sheet fill
  • Maximum age before a group is cut anyway
  • Lead time before a promised date: saving material never eats a promise
  • Caps on orders or sheets per internal order; a customer order always stays whole

A run never changes a price.

Pooling saves material. It does not touch what you quoted.

The combined run calculates no prices. The price was fixed when the order was placed, with its engine version, and a run can make it neither higher nor lower. What pooling saves in sheet material stays with you as margin.
